TLF Promise
The Tyson Law Firm Promise Program (“TLF Promise“) is a minority internship program designed to afford talented minority students with an opportunity to gain hands-on skills and direct mentorship. The program is open to minority undergraduate students studying in the fields of business, business administration, pre-law, marketing, finance and/or accounting.
The goal of TLF Promise is to identify promising minority students, and provide them with a direct and powerful learning experience, in which they can hone their professional skills, network with others in their chosen fields, and receive mentorship from experienced career professionals.
The program runs in seasonal cycles (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter).

What are the requirements?
This program is designed for racial minorities who are currently studying in an accredited undergraduate program, in the areas of Business Management, Finance, Marketing, or Pre-Law. While there is no GPA requirement, a higher GPA will generally make a candidate more competitive. Candidates must be able to reliably work approximately 10 hours per week during their internship cycle.
When and where would I work?
Specific schedules for interns will be laid out at the time of their selection. The program offers flexible scheduling options for interns allowing of other important activities such as classes, study time, and extracurricular activities. Interns, however, will be expected to commit to approximately 10 hours per week for participation in the program. Interns will primarily work at our main office.
What all does the program include?
Every TLF Promise internship is a paid internship. Interns will have the opportunity to work in a part-time position, and gain hands-on experience in line with their areas of study. Interns will also receive one-on-one coaching and mentoring from firm leadership and management, as well as ongoing support and guidance from their program liaison.
